Both Augmentin and Amoxicillin are medicines used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, caused by bacteria. Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that belongs to the amoxicillin class of antibiotics. GlaxoSmithKline (UK) first introduced Amoxicillin in 1996. Its history can be written down by any one of the many things that have changed since then. It’s important to know that antibiotics affect many different parts of the body, so it’s not uncommon to have bacterial infections when they are notittee. They can be caused by a number of different factors, including infection with bacteria that can grow and replicate. Augmentin and Amoxicillin are both medicines used to treat bacterial infections, but Amoxicillin is an antibiotic that belongs to the penicillin class of antibiotics. It kills bacteria by binding to bacterial cell walls, preventing them from growing and multiplying. It does this by binding to the DNA of the bacteria, preventing them from producing the proteins needed for their replication and to survival. Amoxicillin is also used to treat the symptoms of infections caused by viruses, such as herpes labialis (cold sores), and bacterial infections of the ear (otitis media). Amoxicillin works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, thereby preventing their ability to replicate. It does this by preventing bacteria from producing the proteins needed for their replication and to survival. Amoxicillin is not for everyone, and there are some medicines that can help in some cases. Augmentin and Amoxicillin can both be used to treat certain bacterial infections, such as those caused by the common cold or the flu. (See also List of Medicines used to treat flu).
